About Us
Hello my name is Lacy.
We own our home in GA and have a wonderful boxer/aussie family. We have a baby girls that our boxers and aussie's love. Our boxer’s & aussie's our are children & they are spoiled rotten. I've owned boxers since "spring of 05". I acquired by first boxer Nala at a week old. Nala's mother died and I had to hand raise her, man was that work. My second pet boxer was a white boxer named Sugar. Nala & Sugar are the reason why I love boxers. I was not raised with boxers but cattle dogs from living on a horse ranch. My husband was the lover of boxers. So we merged our love for the breeds and now have boxers and aussies.
I also am working on starting my own pet supply store. I could go to the pet store and stay for hours. My first few show boxers had many health issues, so I learned the importance of health testing & health guarantees. Also I found out it's impossible to find a quality Mini Aussie for sale in GA or North FL. So I hope that I can help to spread my boxers & aussies on the South East Coast to wonderful loving homes.
My love for showing came about from my first boxer Taz. I lost Taz in "08" from a bad reaction to meds. So I went in search for my next boxer when I found Limit. I could not have asked for a better personality than Taz, but I think I found his soul brother in Limit. I think boxer males and females are wonderful. My boxer males forever have won my heart though. We have also had to learn the hard way about finding a quality ear cropping vet. We primarily have show in UKC, because AKC you need a nice long ear crop. I will be wiser in my crops in the future. We will be showing in AKC in 2012 with our new additions. I haven't had a mentor in the showing world so we have learned from our experiences and hope to help up and coming showers.
When I began my search for quality aussies I found Lisa Wagner. She was my mentor for years. We are still saddened by her passing in 2010. She was my first start in aussies and we have continued searching for show quality aussies with proper health testing. We now have upcoming aussie puppies to start show in confirmation in the later part of 2011. Where very excited to start in this new show arena. My mother ( Jennine ) and I co-breed and own aussies together. She owns Screamin Mule Paso Fino's and trains her aussies to live on a horse ranch. We mix in the ranch dogs with the show dogs to keep the type in our aussies.
I know that you are wondering why in the world she has Paintball in her kennel name. Well my husband and I love to play paintball. We have it all, even a field set up at our house that we use to put on our own tournaments. We also look for places to go and play. So if you like paintball and you are in the local area Brunswick, Saint Mary's, Kingsland or even Jacksonville you are more than welcome to come play when we have a game. All you will have to do is bring paintballs and we supply air for a small fee. Just go to contact page and give us a holler if you want to play.
